RTÉ Publishing's Patrick Kennedy previews this Sunday's Guinness Hurling final between Tipperary and Cork.

Tipperary will attempt to prevent Cork from bringing home back-to-back Munster titles in Semple Stadium on Sunday, throw-in 4.00pm.

The task facing them is monumental, especially so when Cork corner-back Brian Murphy has a good track record against Premier talisman Eoin Kelly. The common belief seems to be that if you stop Eoin Kelly, you stop Tipp.

Tipp manager Babs Keating has dropped the physical full-forward Michael Webster for the small and nimble (Kelly-esque if you will) Lar Corbett. He is obviously hoping to give the Cork full-back line, and particularly Diarmuid O'Sullivan, the run-around.

The thorn in his side will be the Cork half-back line and midfield. This versatile unit are more than capable of strangling the supply to Kelly and Co in the Tipp forward line and redirecting the supply to Ben O'Connor and Joe Deane at the far end.

Expect Babs to revert to big men in the full-forward line, possibly John Carroll and Webster himself, as they chase the game in the second-half.

We should definitely have a better battle than the final 12 month ago, but Cork have the skill and experience to grind out a result.

Verdict: Cork
