Former players Richie Bennis and Gary Kirby have been confirmed as part of a new-look four-man Limerick hurling management team.
Under-21 manager Tony Hickey and Liam Lenihan, a selector with the outgoing management, are also part of the new regime which was confirmed by the Limerick County Board last night.
The quartet replace former manager Joe McKenna, who announced his departure after Sunday's defeat to Clare.
The appointments will be on an interim basis.
County board chairman Denis Holmes said after the appointments that the situation would be reviewed at the end of the current campaign.
