Despite picking up a thumb injury in a club game in early May, Ken McGrath has been named in the Waterford starting line-up for Sunday's Munster SHC clash with Tipperary at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
McGrath is placed at centre-back and is flanked by Brian Pheland and Eoin Murphy.
Tom Feeney is named at full-back with tony Brown at right-corner and there is a championship debut for Denis Coffey in the other corner.
Also making his championship debut will be Gearoid O'Connor at left half forward as he replaces John Mullane.
Suspension rules out Eoin Kelly who is replaced by his club colleague Eoin McGrath.
