Former team captain Kevin Flynn powered Dublin to a 4-19 to 1-05 win over Roscommon in today's NHL Division 2A clash at Parnell Park.
The O'Toole's full-forward ended the afternoon with a personal tally of 2-03 to add to the three goals he hit against Wicklow last month. Alan McCrabbe and Flynn raised green flags midway through the first half to set the Dubs on their way.
Tommy Naughton's side, who top the table on six points - one ahead of neighbours Meath who they meet next time out on March 26, pushed on in the second half with left half-forward David Curtin running his tally up to 0-06 (all frees), while Flynn grabbed his second goal and right corner forward Tomas McGrane struck the Dubs' fourth.
Struggling Roscommon notched a goal of their own through full-forward Tom Reddington. The visitors' points came from the hurls of Shane Sweeney (0-02), Gerry Fallon (1f), Davy Waldron and Tomas Lennon.
Elsewhere in the NHL's lower divisions, there were home wins for Division 3A's Donegal (1-13 to 1-05 over Monaghan), and Armagh (3-17 to 1-08 against Tyrone) and Fermanagh (0-16 to 2-08 against Cavan) in Division 3B.
