The Vodafone Hurling All-Stars of 2004 and 2005 served up a goal-fest at the Singapore Polo Grounds yesterday as the Donal O'Grady Managed 2004 side won the exhibition match by 9-12 to 6-15.
Goals from Waterford duo Eoin Kelly and Dan Shanahan, Clare attacker Tony Carmody and Limerick's Niall Moran propelled the 2004 All-Stars into a 5-8 to 3-6 half-time lead in a game watched by close on 2,500 spectators.
Goalkeeper Damien Fitzhenry, playing at his very best, claimed the man-of-the-match award despite having a total of six green flags against him.
