Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has named just four of the team that started the All-Ireland final for his first competitive match of the new season, when they take on Down on Sunday.
Ryan McMenamin, Davy Harte, Sean Cavanagh and Owen Mulligan will all face Down in Sunday's Dr McKenna Cup opener at Omagh.
However, there is plenty of experience in the Red Hand line-up, with John Devine taking over from Pascal McConnell in goal and Ciaran Gourley making his return after a lengthy injury lay-off, at the heart of the defence.
Colin Holmes partners Brian Meenan at midfield, with Martin Penrose set to feature at full forward.
Harte has called up nine newcomers to his squad for the pre-season campaign, including recalled Cormac McGinley, who was part of the All-Ireland winning squad of 2003, and who plays at full-back this weekend.
Among the former under-age All-Ireland winners included are Adrian Ball, Colm Donnelly and Raymond Mulgrew.
