Galway have included former dual star Alan Kerins in their side to take on Tipperary in this Sunday's Guinness All-Ireland SHC quarter-final at Croke Park.

Kerins made an appearance as a substitute during the qualifier against Limerick last time out and retains his place at right half-forward.

Eugene Cloonan is a non-starter for Galway. Ollie Canning is named at left corner back in place of Chris Coen, while Derek Hardiman moves from centre back to right half back.

Fergal Healy loses out at full-forward where he is replaced on the edge of the square by Richie Murray.

Lar Corbett will not be available for selection for Tipperary as he has an ongoing hamstring injury that rules him out.

John Carroll, Ger 'Redser' O'Grady, Evan Sweeney and Eddie Enright have all overcome slight knocks to come into contention for starting places in the side that manager Ken Hogan names this evening.

Galway (SH v Tipperary): L Donoghue, D Joyce, S Kavanagh, O Canning, D Hardiman, T Óg O'Regan, D Collins, F Healy, D Tierney, A Kerins, D Forde, N Healy, G Farragher, R Murray, D Hayes.
