Declan Nash today resigned as a selector for the Limerick Senior Hurling team.
His decision to quit comes two weeks before Limerick face Kilkenny in the All-Ireland quarter-finals.
It is understood Limerick will not appoint an immediate replacement.
Nash, from South Liberties, also stood down last March following the departure of Pad Joe Whelehan as manager, but later had a change of heart when Joe McKenna was appointed.
