Tipperary have made three changes to the side that lost to Cork in their last game for Sunday's Allianz National Hurling League clash with Clare at Semple Stadium.
Injury has ruled Tom King and Francis Devanney out of contention for the game and their places in midfield are taken by Conor O'Mahony and Paul Kelly.
Meanwhile, Mark O'Leary returns to the right-half forward position in place of Pa Morrison.
