Clare have made wholesale changes as the county aims to secure their place in the NHL Division 1 against Cork. Brian Lohan is out due to the recurrence of a hamstring injury. Lohan saw a physio and fears that he would miss the Championship opener against Waterford have eased.
Brian Quinn and Ger O'Grady take over the corner back positions with Conor Plunkett at full back. Brian O'Connell and Gerry Quinn come into the half back line, while Ollie Baker & Diarmuid McMahon make up a new midfield partnership. Seán McMahon will captain the side.
