Speculation is rife in Clare this evening that former Clare hurling captain Anthony Daly is set to become the new Clare hurling manager.
A spokesperson for the Clare County Board confirmed this evening that Daly's name had being submitted and would be considered with all the other nominations at Wednesday night's County Board meeting.
Anthony Daly helped his club Clarecastle to the Clare County hurling title yesterday when they defeated Ballyea.
