Kilkenny's Mullaly picks up an ankle injury

Kilkenny defender Richard Mullaly has been laid low by injury.

The Glenmore man broke a bone in his right ankle during a senior club game on Sunday evening, and he'll be sidelined for at least six weeks.

This means the 24 year old will miss the Leinster final against Wexford at least and depending on his recovery, he could miss even more action.

Mullaly was the Cats' most improved player during the succesful defence of the National League.
