The Galway selectors have made six changes to the side that defeated Waterford for the trip to Laois on Sunday. In come newcomers Brian Mahony at left half back and Kevin Gavin at midfield, while Richie Murray and Mark Kerins start this game.
In a reshuffle Shane Kavangh is tried at full back and John Conroy switches from midfield to centre half back.
