Martin Comerford is the only forward to retain his place in the Kilkenny hurling team for Sunday's top-of-the-table Allianz League match at home to Clare. Among those coming in is Willie O'Dwyer, a fine minor in the last couple of years, who will be making his senior debut.
Meanwhile, Mark Prendergast and John Gardner replace Brian Murphy and Alan Cummins in the Cork defence to play Offaly. Paul Tierney makes his first start of the season in midfield and, with Ben O'Connor injured, Joe Deane and Alan Browne will both be in the full-forward line.
