Fennelly steps down as Dublin hurling boss

Kevin Fennelly has stepped down as Dublin hurling manager by mutual agreement.

There had been uncertainty over the Kilkenny man's future for a number of weeks, and his two-year stint at the helm of hurling in the capital ended today.

The Dublin County Board will start the search for a successor immediately although it could be a number of weeks before the new man is installed.
