Mullinahone to play Mount Sion

After winning the county senior Hurling title for the first time in Tipperary on Sunday, Mullinahone now have the prospect of playing Mount Sion of Waterford next Sunday in the Munster Club Championship.

In Dublin, UCD or St Vincents will have to play two games in 24 hours as the pressure is on to keep the Leinster Championship timetable on track. After the High Court delay regarding Na Fianna, the County final will be played by the students and St. Vincents this Saturday with the winners due to face Rathnew in Aughrim on Sunday.

A request was made by the Dublin County board to have the match in Aughrim postponed for a week but it was refused.
