The Kilkenny County Hurling Final between Dunnamaggin and Young Irelands of Gowran has been postponed until next Sunday. The match had to be put back a week because Nowlan Park is waterlogged.

In the first round of the AIB Leinster Club Hurling Championship, Castletown of Laois and Carnew Emmets of Wicklow finished level with Castletown scoring 2-02 to Carnew Emmets' 0-08. Kilmessan of Meath beat Pearse Óg of Louth 0-08 to 0-05. Naas of Kildare beat Wolfe Tones of Longford 1-09 to 0-04 and St Mullins of Carlow beat Lough Lene Gaels of Westmeath 1-09 to 1-06.
At Casement Park in the Ulster Club Hurling Semi-Finals, Portaferry of Down overcame Keady of Armagh by 2-20 to 3-06 and Dunloy of Antrim beat Lavey of Derry 1-13 to 0-10.
In the Sligo Hurling Final, Tubbercurry beat Calry-St Joseph's 2-07 to 2-05 for their eighth title in a row. In the Wexford Hurling Final, Rathnure saw off Cloughbawn 1-10 to 2-05. In the Leitrim Hurling Final, St Marys Carrick-on-Shannon beat Sean O'Heslins Ballinamore by 4-15 to 1-06.
