Carrickmore of Tyrone are through to the Ulster club hurling final following their 2-13 to 0-12 victory over Lisbellaw of Fermanagh in this afternoon's semi-final. Meanwhile, in the Antrim county final, Dunloy eased through to the provincial phase with a convincing 3-12 to 1-08 win over Cushendall.
Elsewhere, Mount Sion were victorious in Waterford after beating reigning county and Munster champions Ballybunnar by 1-19 to 2-14. A storming first-half saw Mount Sion lead by 1-09 to 0-05 at the interval, and with Man of the Match Ken McGrath contributing 11 points, the underdogs ran out deserved winners over the pre-match favourites.
In neighbouring Wicklow, St Patrick's and Carnew Emmets must meet again after drawing 1-10 to 1-10. In Carlow, St Mullin's scored a narrow two-point win over Naomh Eoin, on a scoreline of 4-10 to 4-08.
Meanwhile, Pearse Óg took the honours in Louth after beating Knockbridge by 3-11 to 1-09.
