The All-Ireland hurling qualifiers have drawn up some mouth watering ties, the best of which is an all Munster game between Cork and Limerick. The two have been paired in a rematch of their thrilling championship clash of 12 months ago when Limerick won by a single point at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Elsewhere the Banner County will face the boys from the capital at a neutral venue, after Dublin's Leinster semi-final defeat to Wexford on Sunday. Clare have not played the Dublin lads in the championship before.
Meanwhile the faithful have been drawn against Meath in a more familiar tie after Kilkenny hammered Offaly in the other Leinster semi-final. There could be a conflict of interest in this match as former Offaly All-Ireland medalist Michael Duignan takes Meath to face his old friends. The final match pairs Galway and Down, yesterday's defeated finalists. This will probably be played at Casement Park and is another noval championship fixture.
