GAA: GAC to hear hurling proposals today

The GAA's Games Administration Committee will tonight hear proposals from the Hurling Development Committee on how to improve the game of hurling. The HDC, under the chairmanship of Nicky Brennan, met last night to finalise the proposals for a new-look Championship. A new structure has been agreed on by the committee and the final draft will be received by the GAC at Croke Park tonight. However, whatever the proposals, they are expected to cause conflicting views among county officials, managers and players.
