Jimmy Barry-Murphy is still not prepared to comment on speculation that he is to vacate the post of Senior Hurling Coach to the Cork Team.
Barry-Murphy and his co selectors are taking charge of the Cork team to face Limerick at the weekend in the Waterford Crystal, Southern Counties league. After that, they will meet the Cork County Board's executive committee to discuss their second year of a two year contract.
The County Secretary, Frank Murphy is on a week’s holiday and only when he returns will there be talk on the subject.
Following Cork's failure to retain their All-Ireland title by losing to Offaly in the semi-final last August, speculation has circulated in the county that Bary-Murphy will retire as coach.
