Galway have made just one change to their team ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland Minor Hurling final but opponents Cork will look very different. Galway's John Paul O'Connell has been named as a substitute for the final. His place at centre-forward will be taken over by Peter Garvey. Garvey lined out previously at left-half-forward but he will be replaced in this position by wing-back Kevin Brady. Adrian Cullinane returns to the side in the position vacated by Brady. Cullinane was dropped for the semi-final defeat of Offaly but has been very impressive of late and has been rewarded with a place in the starting line-up.
Cork's full-back line shows many changes. Colm O'Sullivan, ruled out of the semi-final with a hamstring injury, will return to the side at right-corner-back with Brian Murphy switching to the left. Jerry O'Brien also returns from injury at full-back. Making way for him is John Gardiner. Brian Carey moves back into midfield, to partner Mark O'Connor, after a spell at centre-forward for the semi-final. Stephen O'Sullivan loses out. David Cashman has also been relegated to the subs bench with the return of Gary McLoughlin at right half-forward.
