Ireland's women's and men's teams are both set to head to Chile for qualification tournaments for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup.
Ireland are competing in the World Cups in Netherlands and Belgium later this year.
The women's team are aiming to reach a third consecutive tournament, and have been drawn alongside Malaysia, Japan and Canada in Pool B.
The clash with the Canadians will be the first since that historic day in 2019 when Ireland secured an Olympic hockey place for the first time.
Pool A consists of Australia, Chile, France and Switzerland.
The men are also in Pool B. They are up against Canada, Korea and Poland, and are looking to reach the tournament for the first time since 2018.
France, Wales, Scotland and Chile are the sides competing in Pool A.
Both qualifying tournaments consist of eight-team competitions, with the top two teams in each pool playing in the semi-finals. The winners of those matches will achieve qualification by reaching the final.
The winner of the third place play-off will also qualify for the tournament proper.
Should either Irish side manage a top-two finish in their pool, then the semi-finals and final will take place between the 6-8 March.
