Ireland have been drawn against the Netherlands, Germany and France in the group stages of the Women's 2025 EuroHockey Championships in Germany.
The tournament, which takes place from 8-17 August next year, will be held in Monchengladbach’s 9,000-capacity stadium SparkassenPark.
Ireland will take on the No1 ranked Netherlands, a Germany side that sit currently third in the world standings and Olympic hosts France in Pool A.
Pool B will consist of Belgium, England, Spain, and Scotland.
Ireland secured automatic qualification to the 20th edition of the tournament thanks to their top-6 finish last year.
A third-place finish in their pool was followed by a fifth-place finish overall, their joint highest ever finishing position in a European Championship.
