The Irish Womens squad for the Celtic Cup in Edinburgh from 22/24 July 2005 has been announced.
Irish Coach Riet Kuper did not consider Jenny Burke, Lynsey McVicker, Angela Platt and Eimear Cregan as she gives other players in the squad an opportunity to impress before she makes her final selection for the European Finals.
Loreto's Louisa Healy and Armagh's Hannah Bowe are the only 2 uncapped players named. Jill Orbinson makes a return following the elbow injury sustained at the KT Cup in Korea. Linda Caulfield has been named as captain for the first time with Ciara O'Brien Vice-Captain.
