Cork Harlequins have won the European Cup Winners' Cup in Vienna today after a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Welsh side Newtown. This result means that this year's Irish Senior Cup winners, Ballymoney, will now play in the 'A' Division in next season's Cup Winners' Cup competition.
Meanwhile, Pembroke Wanderers beat AHTC of Austria by the same scoreline to finish third in the men's competition.
