Beth Coulter makes GB&I team for Curtis Cup mission in Bel Air

Beth Coulter of Ireland lines up a putt on the third green during day one of the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open Golf Championship at Carton House Golf Club in Maynooth, Kildare.
Beth Coulter has been selected again

Beth Coulter is the sole Irish representative on the Great Britain and Ireland team for next month's Curtis Cup showdown with the USA at Bel Air Country Club in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old Kirkistown Castle star has been selected as part of the eight-strong team for the 44th edition of the competition, while Emma Fleming (Elm Park) will be one of the reserves.

The Curtis Cup takes place from 12 to 14 June.

Coulter is the first Irish golfer since Lauren Walsh in 2022 to feature in back-to-back Curtis Cup teams after playing in Sunningdale, England two years ago.

Alongside compatriots Sara Byrne and Áine Donegan, Coulter helped GB&I to a 10.5 to 9.5 victory, ending a run of three consecutive defeats.

The Arizona State golfer played at the Augusta National Women's Amateur this year and will be primed for another big performance in California.

Fleming has had a promising start to 2026, following up her top-10 finish at the Spanish Amateur with another in Germany earlier this month.
