Leona Maguire shot her low round of the week to finish on one over par after third round of the Queen City Championship.
The one-under par round saw Maguire hit nine of the 14 fairways as she mixed four birdies with three bogeys.
The score of 69 leaves the Cavan woman 12 strokes behind leader Lottie Woad, whose 65 has hear five clear of Amanda Doherty in Cincinnati.
After shooting the joint-low round of the tournament on Friday with a 64, Woad had the joint low round of the third round as she hit seven birdies, and just two bogeys, for a score of 65.
"Looking forward to being back in contention again," said Woad, who hasn't finished higher than a tie for seventh this season. "I think this year I've kind of been backdooring top 10s, top 15s. I haven't really been challenging on Sunday, so looking forward to actually playing under the pressure a little bit."
If Woad holds on to her lead in this $2 million tournament, then she'll collect the second LPGA Tour title of her nascent career. She claimed the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open last July, less than two weeks after going pro.
