Irish interest ended at German Masters as quartet miss cut

There will be no Irish interest in the Amundi German Masters as all four players from the island failed to make the cut for the weekend.

Germany's Esther Henseleit leads on nine under par after a two-under round of 71, leaving her one stroke clear of Czechia's Sara Kouskova.

Four players are in a share of third place on six under, with Norway's Dorthea Forbrigd joined by German trio Chiara Noja, Leonie Harm and 2024 champion Alexandra Forsterlingall.

Anna Foster was the best of the Irish on four over par, two outside the cut mark. Sara Byrne's 76 saw her finish on seven over, ahead of Annabel Wilson (+9) and Olivia Mehaffey (+14).
