Germany's Leonie Harm leads the way at the 2026 Amundi German Masters, with the Irish quartet off the pace after Thursday's opening round.
Harm fired a bogey-free round of 65 to sit atop the leaderboard on a calm and cold day at Green Eagle Golf Courses.
The 28-year-old conquered the North Course – known as the Green Monster – rolling in eight birdies.
Harm went out in the first group of the day from the 10th tee and rolled in birdies at the 11th, 13th and 15th holes to make the turn in three under.
She then made further birdies on the second, fourth, fifth, seventh and ninth to seal a round of eight-under-par in her homeland.
Harm is one shot clear of another home favourite in Esther Henseleit.
Meanwhile, Annabel Wilson is best placed of the Irish and is ten shots off the lead after a two-over 75.
Anna Foster and Sara Byrne are one and two shots further back respectively, while Olivia Mehaffey is tied for 122nd after a seven-over start.
