Bernd Wiesberger returned to the winner's enclosure for the first time in five years with victory at the Volvo China Open.
The Austrian had a titanic tussle with Adrian Otaegui, who had opened up a three-shot lead heading down the back nine.
However, three birdies in four holes saw Wiesberger wipe out that deficit and he kept his cool as Otaegui unravelled during the closing stages to claim his ninth DP World Tour title by three shots in Shanghai.
An emotional Wiesberger said: "An unbelievable week. I played my heart out today, it wasn't pretty at times but I got it done.
"I’m super proud of sticking through hard times on the golf course lately, but this is for everyone at home and I couldn’t be happier."
