Rory McIlroy resumes his Masters charge this evening, heading into his third round at Augusta with a commanding six-shot lead.
The defending champion streaked away from the field during a spectacular closing stretch to his second round, in which he birdied six of the final seven holes to get to 12 under par.
Today, McIlroy is paired with American Sam Burns, who is in a share of second place with Patrick Reed on six under. They tee off at 7.50pm Irish time.
Shane Lowry is in a tie for fourth on five under. Lowry is paired with Englishman Tommy Fleetwood and begins his third round at 7.28pm.
