Shane Lowry didn't feature at the top of the leaderboard at the Texas Children's Houston Open, but the Offaly man will have another memorable shot for his highlights reel.

Starting his final round 13 shots behind eventual winner Gary Woodland, Lowry parred the opening hole before teeing up on the par-three second at Memorial Park Golf Course.

Incredibly, the 38-year-old aced the 170 yard hole for his fourth hole-in-one on the PGA Tour.

The 2019 Open champion had previously recorded hole-in-ones at the 16th at Augusta National (2016), 17th at TPC Sawgrass (2022) and seventh at Pebble Beach (2025).

He also managed the feat at the 2014 DP World Tour Championship in Dubai and the 2018 Open at Walton Heath.

Lowry eventually finished tied for 28th on on seven under after a round of 68.

FULL LEADERBOARD

Woodland shot three-under-par 67 to win on the PGA Tour for the first time in nearly seven years.

The American finished at 21under for four rounds at a course he shared second place at last year.

Woodland won by five strokes over Denmark's Nicolai Hojgaard, who carded 71 for the final round.

It's Woodland's fifth victory on the PGA Tour, but first since the 2019 US Open, and his first since undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumour in 2023.

Woodland went four under on the front side to build a six-stroke advantage.

When Hojgaard bogeyed 10, the margin moved to seven shots.
