Dan Bradbury held his nerve during a chaotic finale to secure his second Joburg Open title.
The Englishman only hit the front for the first time when he birdied the penultimate hole to climb to 17 under alongside Brandon Robinson Thompson.
Bradbury was on the 18th fairway when Robinson Thompson three-putted the last for a bogey to hand him a one-shot lead.
That meant he only needed a par for his third DP World Tour crown, only to overshoot the final green.
However, he produced a stunning recovery shot to close range and tapped in for his second success at Houghton Golf Club.
"It's probably similar to Wakefield where I grew up," Bradbury said.
"It’s quite tight, tree-lined and got to drive it well.
"I did that and putted pretty solid this week, although it didn’t feel amazing, but got the result and that’s all that matters."
