Agathe Laisne emerged victorious at the Ford Women's NSW Open in Australia as she earned a first win on the Ladies European Tour.
The Frenchwoman's six-under 65 at Wollongong Golf Club on Sunday ensured that she finished on 16-under, one shot clear of Thailand's April Angurasaranee and Korean amateur Soomin Oh.
Laisne is the second winner of the season on the LET after Charley Hull won the PIF Saudi Ladies International last month.
"It feels really great," Laisne said. "I'm really happy. It feels surreal and I’m very, very happy. What’s next? No, I’m kidding! [But this win] means that my game is improving and I’m doing the right thing. I hope to continue and I’m really happy."
Áine Donegan led the Irish challenge on what was her professional debut on the LET. The Clare woman carded a 70 to finish seven shots behind Laisne in a tie for 16th on nine-under.
The Clare woman had topped the leaderboard after Friday's second round. But a costly 74 on Saturday had dropped her out of contention before Sunday's tournament climax.
Dublin's Anna Foster was tied for 37th on four-under after a level-par 71.
