Anna Foster is the best of the Irish players after the opening round of the Andalucia Open de Espana, with the Dubliner four shots off the lead.
Foster carded a round of 70 at the Real Club Guadalhorce, making four birdies, with dropped shots coming on nine and 14. Her two-under finish leaves her in joint-14th spot.
Leading the way on six under at the season-ending event after rounds of 66 are Denmark's Smilla Tarning Soenderby and Trichat Cheenglab from Thailand.
Of the other Irish in the field, Lauren Walsh is a shot behind Foster which saw her make three birdies in the last six holes to post 71.
Sara Byrne signed for a 72 in what was an up-and-down round as five dropped shots were mixed in with as many birdies.
France's Celine Herbin and Spain’s Luna Sobron Galmes are in a share of third place after they both fired rounds of 67.
