Linn Grant took sole possession of the lead at The ANNIKA in Florida as Leona Maguire endured a round of two halves.

Maguire is tied for 47th on one under after failing to ignite on Saturday. The front nine saw the Cavan woman bogey the second and eighth as her progress faded, however she rallied with the back nine proving more fruitful after a pair of back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15.

LEADERBOARD

Thirteen shots ahead of her on the leaderboard, Grant went from a share of the lead to a one-stroke advantage going into Sunday's final round.

The Swede, who had spoken of the importance of the tournament to her given it's named after her idol and compatriot Annika Sorenstam, carded a five-under 65 around the Pelican Golf Course.

Jennifer Kupcho also shot a 65 to sit second on 13 under, two clear of Australia's Grace Kim, who had shared the lead with Grant at the halfway point, and Russian Nataliya Guseva.

The trio of Gaby Lopez, Hae-Ran Ryu and Lucy Li are tied for fifth.
