Seamus Power kept himself within striking distance of the summit at the Bermuda Championship after a 67 on Saturday left him within three shots of the leading duo going into the final round.

The Waterford native was six shots adrift of overnight leader Adam Hadwin but halved that gap to new joint-leaders Adam Schenk and Braden Thornberry after the third round.

Power began the day with a bogey on the first but that was as bad as it would get, with a strong round to follow.

He responded with an immediate birdie on the second, with further gains on four and six. On the back nine, he added another birdie on 14 and finished with a flourish with another on the 18th to move up to nine under and a tie for eighth.

Schenk also carded a 67 as he moved up to 12 under along with fellow American Thornberry (69).

Hadwin's level par 71 saw him drop back into a four-way tie for third on 11 under which he shares with Chandler Phillips, Max McGreevy and Takumi Kanaya.

It could be a timely showing for Power, who is finishing the season strongly after a summer hampered by injury.

Ahead of next week's season-ending RSM Classic, he is currently 126th in the FedEx Fall standings, with the top 100 earning PGA Tour cards for 2026, while the top 125 gain conditional PGA Tour status.
