Seamus Power is six shots off the lead going into the weekend at the Bermuda Championship after a second-round 68 before play was suspended late Friday afternoon due to darkness with six players one or two holes away from completing their second rounds.
The Waterford man is bidding to retain his PGA Tour card after a season hampered by injury during the summer, and currently sits in 133rd in the FedEx Cup standings, with only the top 100 at the end of the season enjoying full status next year.
The Bermuda Championship is the penultimate event of 2025 with the season concluding at next week's RSM Classic in Georgia.
Power began round two by birdying the 10th. A bogey followed on 15 but he responded quickly with another birdie on 16.
Power bookended the Port Royal Golf Course's front nine in positive style with birdies on two and nine which has left him in a tie for 15th on five under.
At the top of the leaderboard, Canada's Adam Hadwin counteracted a double bogey with a late eagle and held onto the lead.
Hadwin posted an eagle and a birdie during his final four holes to shoot a five-under 66, moving to 11 under for the event.
US pair Chandler Phillips and Braden Thornberry one shot behind following a 64 and 65 respectively.
Their compatriots Max McGreevy and Noah Goodwin are tied for fourth on nine under.
