Following heavy rain at the Sunrise Golf and Country Club in Taiwan, the Ladies European Tour have confirmed that the Wistron Ladies Open has been reduced to 54 holes.
The event, which has Irish player Lauren Walsh in the field, was due to get under way on Thursday.
However, with the course flooded, officials were left with no choice but to scrap the opening day's play.
Staff and greenskeepers at the venue are working to alleviate the rain's impact to ensure the course is ready for play on Friday.
The team will continue to monitor and inspect the course, and remain hopeful that conditions will improve to allow a course walk on Thursday.
