Lauren Walsh finished inside the top 30 at the Ladies Open de France as 16-year-old Anna Huang made it back-to-back titles on the Ladies European Tour.
Huang becomes the third player to win back-to-back in 2025 following in the footsteps of England's Mimi Rhodes and Czechia’s Sara Kouskova.
The Canadian rookie finished the 54-hole event with a 65 to finish on 16-under par, two strokes ahead of Casandra Alexander of South Africa and Germany’s Helen Briem.
While a 65 on Friday didn’t put Walsh in the title picture, it did open up the possibility of a high finish, but a final round of 70 saw her finish in a tie for 26th.
Walsh’s hot form from Friday did carry into the early part of the round as three birdies in her opening seven holes saw her move to six-under, but she would play the rest of the round in two-over par for a four-under finish.
Sara Byrne was two shots further back after a closing 68.
Starting on the 10th, the Cork golfer posted two birdies and two bogeys in her first six holes before playing the front nine in two-under par.
Annabel Wilson finished on one-under par while Anna Foster who a stroke behind on level par.
The LET now has a one-week break before heading to India for the Hero Women’s Indian Open, which takes place at DLF Golf and Country Club between 9-12 October.
