Overnight leaders Leona Maguire and Jennifer Kupcho have slipped back to a share of fourth place at the Dow Championship in the US.

The pair finished on 11 under par after a round of 72 in Saturday's foursome format, two shots off leaders Sarah Schmelzer, of the USA, and Switzerland's Albane Valenzuela.

"I think it gives us a chance going into tomorrow," said Maguire. "Just really got nothing going today, but tried to stay patient, tried to keep giving ourselves chances; eventually did on the last holes. Jen holed two great putts."

LEADERBOARD

In between Maguire's team and the leaders are two teams on 12 under par. Jin Hee Im and Somi Lee shot a two-under par 68, while Belgium's Manon De Roey and France's Pauline Roussin-Bouchard posted a 69.

The event is the only team tournament on the LPGA Tour and this evening's final round will revert to the 'best ball' format, which was also used on Friday.
