Seamus Power has squeezed just inside the cut-line following a second round 67 at the Charles Scwhab Challenge.

Power was up against it after struggling to a three-over par 73 following a messy opening nine on Thursday.

However, the two-time PGA Tour winner recovered with a bogey-free three-under par round on Friday. Starting on the first this time, Power birdied the opening two holes before adding another at the seventh to reach the turn in three-under.

He was consistent from there, parring his way home though was unable to give himself any real birdie opportunities on the back nine.

Fresh off his major win at the PGA Championship, world No 1 Scottie Scheffler finds himself 10 shots off the pace after a second round score of one over 71.

That left Power on tied-62nd with his even-par score just enough to secure a weekend tee time.
