Seamus Power remains just outside the top ten following a one-under third round at the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic.

Power remains seven shots off the lead after matching Joel Dahmen's third round score, however, only four shots separate him from second-placed trio of Chan Kim, Michael Thorbjornsen and Garrick Higgo.

The Waterford native began the day with a bogey on the first hole, however, he bounced back with birdies at the fourth and seventh holes to turn on one under for his round.

Another shot was dropped to start the back nine, which was cancelled out on the par-five 12th hole, while Power would finish with six straight pars to enjoy a share of 11th place heading into Sunday’s final round.

LEADERBOARD

Joel Dahmen, who has led the field since the first round, shot a 1-under-par 71 and will bring a three-shot lead into the final round.

Dahmen bogeyed two of his first five holes and added another bogey in his toughest round of the weekend, but finished with four birdies and sits at 17 under par.

"It was a challenge, for sure," Dahmen said. "It's always tough teeing off with a bigger lead. I feel like I hit some good shots early that didn't end up in a good spot. Then I screwed up all the easy stuff early, so really frustrating."

Chan Kim, Michael Thorbjornsen and South Africa's Garrick Higgo sit three shots back at 14-under.
