Tom McKibbin carded a seven-under 65 to lie one shot off the lead ahead of the final round of the Porsche Singapore Classic.
Starting on the 10th, McKibbin found his groove early on, delivering birdies at the openin hole, 13th, fifth and seventh, before eagles threes arrived on the 18th and the third. The only blemish came at the last, as he made five at the par-four ninth. The 22 year-old stands at 10-under in an event reduced to the three rounds after heavy rain on Thursday.
Conor Purcell missed the cut; his round of 72, following on from a opening 73, left him at one-over.
American Dan Erickson carded a 64 to lead the field by one, this after a round comprising nine birdies, with just the one dropped shot.
English duo Matthew Jordan and Richard Mansell, Frenchman Adrien Saddier and Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti share second spot alongside McKibbin.
World number 14 Robert MacIntyre matched Erickson's 64 to climb up to seven-under, in a group of 10 players four shots behind the leader.
