Leona Maguire will be around for the weekend at the Founders Cup, with a round of 68 on Friday ensuring she was one shot the right side of the cut mark.
The Cavan golfer finished one under in a round, starting on the 10th, where she carded five birdies, with dropped shots coming on 14 and at the third hole. After opening with a 73, the 30-year-old started round two in a positive manner, picking up a shot at the first hole.
She will hope to sustain that momentum as she aims for a high finish at the Bradenton Country Club.
Maguire is 11 shots behind leader Jin Young Ko of Korea, who had eight birdies in a round of 63. At 12 under, she is two shots clear of the USA's Yealimi Noh and Angel Yin; Korea's Jin Hee Im and Minami Katsu from Japan.
