A third round 75 saw Leona Maguire slip to six-over par at the Women's World Championship in Singapore, 16 shots off pacesetter Ayaka Furue.

The Cavan woman began with an opening round 70, but Friday’s 77 was followed by a three-over par round of 75.


FULL LEADERBOARD


The 29-year-old was one-over for her round at the turn and dropped shots at 10 and 12 before a birdie at the par-five 13th.

A bogey at the last saw her finish for 75 and is tied for 54th in a field of 64 players.

Japan’s Furue will take a two-shot lead into the final round after blistering 68 moved her to 10-under par.

The 23-year-old birdied four of her first seven holes, with her only bogey coming at the 12th, though that was cancelled out a hole later.

Australia’s Hannah Green is two shots adrift, with Andrea Lee and Celine Boutier tied for third on seven-under par.
