Tom McKibbin remains in contention at the Singapore Classic after a one-under 71 leaves him two shots behind co-leaders Alejandro Del Rey and Jeung-Hun Wang ahead of the final round.
At the age of 20, McKibbin is looking to become Irish golf's youngest tour winner since clubmate Rory McIlroy won the Dubai Desert Classic aged 19 in 2009.
He started his third round at the Laguna National GC with four birdies in his first five holes. However, three bogeys before the turn stalled his momentum. He couldn't quite get it going on the back nine, though he did pick up another birdie on 14, either side of dropped shots on 12 and 16.
McKibbin now holds a share of fourth spot in what is a crowded leaderboard.
Del Rey and Wang of South Korea both had rounds of 66 to move to 14 under.
Wang produced a brilliant birdie blitz on the back nine. The 27-year-old is just six events into his DP World Tour comeback after completing his mandatory military service in South Korea, but it has not taken the three-time winner long to get back up to speed.
He turned in 34 after making one birdie and eight pars on the front nine before reeling off five successive birdies from the 12th to grab a share of the lead.
And although he bogeyed the 17th, Wang bounced back with a closing birdie.
Del Rey, who played in the same group as Wang, carded an eagle, seven birdies and three bogeys in his 66.
The pair lead the way by a shot from England's Richard Mansell.
