Leona Maguire managed a top-four finish at the Spanish Open after finishing with a closing 69 to take her to 16-under par.
Caroline Hedwall won the tournament after a play-off against Morgane Metraux, with the pair needing four holes to be separated.
The duo headed played the 18th hole three times before going to the 17th where the Swede sunk a birdie to take the title.
"It just feels awesome, it feels forever that I have waited for that win," she said.
"I wasn't sure I still had it in me. It’s so nice to get it together and get this win.
"It has been a rollercoaster to be honest, I had injury in 2014 that was really tough on me, and I had a hard turn on my self-confidence. That win in 2018 meant a lot to me.
"It was tough during Covid-19, I didn’t want to travel as much but now it’s more or less back to normal and it feels great. My game is coming together really nicely, and it was awesome to finish with that.
"I have been hitting my driver really well the last couple of weeks and I could take advantage of the par-fives here and reach and two-putt for birdies and even make a couple of eagles. It’s been great, I have really enjoyed playing this golf course, it was a lot of fun.
"I wasn’t sure I still had it in me, and I think I just showed myself I can, and the 2023 Solheim Cup will be a goal for next season."

Maguire came into the final day in a three-way tie for third, two shots off Metraux, but she couldn't reel the Swiss in despite hitting two birdies in her first four holes.
Her round was one better than yesterday as the Cavan woman delivered birdies on three, four and 11 to move to within one shot of the lead alongside three other players.
Another birdied followed on 17, but by that stage Hedwall and Metraux moved two shots clear, eventually finishing with rounds of 67 and 69 respectively.
Maguire had to settle for par at the last with Linn Grant of Sweden finishing third on 17 under.
