Gary Hurley and John Murphy will both play on the DP World Tour next year, having both successfully come through the Qualifying School Final Stage in Spain.
Both Hurley and Murphy came through the daunting 108 hole tournament at the Lakes Course in Tarragona inside the top-25 to guarantee their place on the Tour next year.
Hurley started the in tied-16th on 17-under par, three strokes clear of those outside the crucial 25th place and his final round on 69 was enough for a 15th place.
Murphy's position was much more precarious going into the final as he started the day four shots outside the top 25. However, a brilliant finish to the tournament saw him go six-under in his last 12 holes.
The 24-year-old signed for a final round of 65, leaving him just inside the cut-off point for a tour card at -17.
Hurley, who had been on the verge of walking away from the game a couple of years ago, believes that his success is a vindication of the decision to keep playing.
"This time last year, I had no sponsors, I had nothing," he said. "I managed to convince some guys to help me out over the winter, convince them that this was going somewhere that the work I was putting in is going to it's going to mean something.
"And I'm so, so thankful for them for that even when I was telling them. I now just have a lot of evidence this year with my results. And now this just I mean, it's brilliant. I'm delighted. I am absolutely delighted."
